Joseph P. Ritz, DMD

Joseph P. Ritz, DMD, practices a full scope of general and cosmetic dentistry with expertise ranging from Invisalign, porcelain veneers, dental implant restoration, crowns and bridges. Dr. Ritz can correct a wide variety of cosmetic dental problems, completely redesigning your smile.

Dr. Ritz is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine. He returned Penn Dental School as an associate Professor of Clinical Dentistry until devoting all of his time to his patients. He has now maintained his practice in Wayne for over 40 years.

When he is not in the office, Dr. Ritz is an avid cyclist and enjoys traveling. You may see him in a local gym or restaurant as he enjoys attending community events. Dr. Ritz looks forward to your visit and to introducing you to his wonderful staff.

    DENTAL HYGIENIST

    Melissa graduated from Harcum College with her degree in Dental Hygiene in 2008. She then began working with Dr. Ritz and has been a proud member of his team ever since! With her calm and cheerful demeanor, Melissa provides a comfortable experience while working closely with patients to achieve and maintain their oral health.

    Melissa was born and raised in Lower Merion. She currently lives in Wynnewood with her husband and two sons. Outside of the office, Melissa enjoys being active and outdoors with her family, cooking, gardening and spending time in Long Beach Island, NJ.

    DENTAL ASSISTANT

    Steph has been Dr. Ritz’s assistant since 2018 after she graduated from Contemporary Health Career Institute. Steph enjoys being able to help patients feel at ease in our office and she loves coming to work every day to learn all she can from Dr Ritz!

    Steph lives in Oaks with her husband and their cat. When she’s not at the office she enjoys reading, video games, horseback riding and kayaking.
